Prince William heads back to the Caribbean
Prince William in the Caribbean with the Royal Navy in summer 2008Prince William is currently in very familiar territory, having journeyed back to the Caribbean for another round of military training, as per The Telegraph.
Instead of returning to his previous role with the Royal Navy, however, William is training with the Special Boat Service. The work sounds basically the same, though: Jon Swaine writes that the SBS "is aiming to combat drug trafficking and piracy in the region."
Swaine adds, "The Prince is said to have flown to Barbados on Sunday in preparation for 10 days' activity with the SBS. While details of his mission are being kept secret, SBS forces train in carrying out late-night raids on suspect vessels."
Will he bust more speedboats trafficking cocaine? Only time will tell...

How nerve wracking must it be for Kate knowing that Wills is participating in SAS maneuvers...granted they are training missions, but still.

Probably no fun at all for Kate. The next couple of years are going to be tough especially since he will be flying in Helicopters. There is a notoriously low survival rate for accidents in helicopters and they will probably be rescuing people in bad weather conditions which are the type which causes problems. I still find it very odd that both brothers are being allowed to pursue such dangerous careers.
Hopefully we will see something of kate at some point soon.
It was nice to see the article about Mike Tindall and Zara Phillips emerge. Maybe they will be next to waltz up the aisle?
The two of them certainly looked happy in their latest appearance. I'd put money on the two of them for the next (non)royal wedding - though I wonder if it will be even more private than her brother's recent ceremony. I wouldn't be totally shocked if we hear in the future that they've secretly eloped or something!

I totally agree...it sure is looking like Zara and Mike will be next. Good for them! They're absolutely adorable together...great love match, I say.
JJ, I too am surprised that both princes have been given the green light, so to speak, to purse such a dangerous career in the British Air Force. It is very uncharacteristic any way I look at it. Like you said, it is an extremely dangerous career.
I don't think I would be too shocked to hear about that either. Since they are non -royal they don't have to go through the pomp and ceremony if they don't want to. Maybe they could even get married on their new estate if the house deal goes through???
The picture of Harry and Chelsy at the rugby match were very cute now if only we could see Kate and William. It feels like so long since we have seen her.
