Kate Middleton's "wild" family subject of a Daily Mail profile
A brother in a polka-dot dress and a party-loving sister ... Kate Middleton's more scandalous siblings are the focus of a new Daily Mail article written by royal watcher Richard Kay and Geoffrey Levy.
The article, already taken down once from the Mail website and subsequently re-added, makes claims about the private lives of members of the Middleton family that could potentially land the paper in hot water -- especially in light of the successful PCC claims recently filed by Max Mosley and the Duke of Edinburgh.
Among Kay and Levy's revelations about Kate's younger brother James: "The future King's putative brother-in-law does enjoy dressing up for parties." The article features a photo of James wearing a frock reportedly loaned to him by his more famous older sister.
They also claim that "a marked change came over James when his sister started getting all that Press coverage with Prince William"; the only son of the Middletons, according to the article's unnamed source, became "posher" and grew "miffed" when he wasn't recognized like his sisters by the paparazzi, emboldened by his new status as brother to a royal girlfriend.
Kate's younger sister, Pippa, is described as "sparkly," and the piece reveals that family friends reportedly thought that she "would be the one most likely to make a spectacular marriage," not Kate. The story compares the sisters to Sarah and Diana Spencer and also paints a picture of a sisterly relationship tinged with a healthy streak of sibling rivalry and jealousy, even though the two are often photographed smiling together and frequently share clothing.
But perhaps the most interesting of all the tidbits revealed in the article is this one: "Still, now that all three Middleton children are up and running, there'll be no stopping them, especially as their mother has now had her first formal meeting with the Queen over tea at Royal Ascot - surely the strongest indication of things to come between William and Kate."
Though Carole Middleton was rumored to possibly meet with Prince William's grandmother at Royal Ascot -- mostly by the Mail -- it was never reported that the two actually did encounter each other. Indeed, no photographs of any members of the Middleton family were published from this year's Royal Ascot week.

It's ridiculous and upsetting how the media has now targeted James and Pippa on top of all the mundane speculations they've published on their sister. When William said in an interview that he didn't like how the press bothered his friends and their families, I imagine this is the sort of rubbish he was referring to.
Seems like a normal, well adjusted family. Go figure !
